Recital 2008

Studio Rehearsal: Saturday June 7 (9:30 am-11:15 am). Marshall Auditorium Rehearsals: Wednesday, June 11 (5:00-8:00 pm) & Thursday, June 12 (5:30-7:30 pm). Recital: Saturday, June 14, 2 pm. See emails/handouts for more details.

Directions to Applewild

From Studio: Left onto Rt. 119 East. Follow road as it becomes Rt. 31 South. Go past Country Pizza on right, and through 4-way intersection. Up small hill, pass Burbank Hospital on right, continuing on Rt. 31 to set of lights. Take right onto Prospect Street.Take a left into driveway of the first Applewild building. Approximately 10 miles & 15 minutes from Studio.

Parking: There are some spaces on the right and left as you enter the driveway. Passing the building on your right, you will come to additional parking. The lot across the street, and all spaces in front of the Crocker (large white house) Building are available. If all regulation spaces are used up, families may park on the side streets and on the street in front of Applewild school, on the same side as the school only. Leave the 2 spaces directly in front of the building open for staff.

Dunkin Donuts: Go right on Prospect Street. Take a right at the lights, then go to the left of the big boulder. Stay straight through the next 2 sets of lights as the road goes to the right of Main Street in Fitchburg. When the road meets up again with Main Street, go right. D&D is on your left. Leaving D&D, take a right on Main Street and go straight until the last set of lights, where you continue straight onto Prospect St.

Adult Mini-Session

An introductory class for adult dancers (or a refresher course for adults with prior dance experience). Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm. 4 weeks: July 8- July 29. To register, send the completed registration form and $70 payable to "Flying Irish" (tuition is non-refundable) to Flying Irish, PO Box 351, Ashby, MA 01431. Class attire: black shorts, white tee-shirt, white socks; dance shoes--ballet, jazz or Irish (if already owned) or new, clean-bottomed sneakers or water shoes (street shoes are not allowed in the studio). OUR STUDIO

The Flying Irish Studio is a circa 1850s post and beam barn that has been rehabilitated and renovated into a state-of-the-art dance studio. Income from special events funds studio maintenance and the purchasing of studio supplies, allowing the studio to continue to offer discounted tuition to students taking multiple classes.
